Au-delà des mots, une vie en noir et blanc.
Quand les mots ne suffisent plus, quand ils deviennent inaudibles, quand la solitude gagne, quand la souffrance est indicible, l’isolement insupportable, le corps continue à s’exprimer.
Quand l’enfermement se vit au quotidien il ne se raconte pas.
La première sensation de sa propre perte d’identité est éprouvée dès l’attribution du numéro d’écrou, sitôt les murs d’enceinte franchis par le détenu. Dès lors, votre nom n’est plus jamais précédé de « monsieur »…
La prison est un champ clos délimité par des doubles murs d’enceinte surplombés de miradors dont la hauteur prive de tout horizon, de toutes perspectives, de toutes projections vers l’extérieur.
Entrer en prison c’est être englouti dans une spirale infernale qui vous broie, qui vous lamine jusqu’à l’ultime découragement. Il est donc impératif de chercher et trouver en soi la force et la volonté nécessaire pour sortir comme on est entré… debout !

Beyond words, a life in black and white.
When words are not enough, when they can no longer be heard, when loneliness is the winner, when suffering is unspeakable, isolation is unbearable, the body still keeps on expressing itself.
When you experience confinement on a daily basis, you can no longer talk about it.
You feel the first sensation of losing your own identity when you are allotted a number, a sort of crossing over a boundary for the prisoner. From that point onward you are never addressed as « Mr. »…
The prison is a closed space, marked by the double boundary walls with watch towers on them. These walls are so high that they take away your horizons, all sense of perspective goes, all sense of projection towards the outside.
Entering the prison means being sucked into an infernal spiral that grinds you and hones you until you lose all hope. That is why it is imperative to find the strength within yourself and the necessary will to be able to leave in the same way as you came in… upright !
