BIOS is one of my first personal projects, comes directly from my specialty: still-life and digital processing.
I’ve always been fascinated by color and nature. My intention was to explore and experience what changes can be obtained on spatial and color perception.
The title comes from the curious sensation of seeing not roots, leaves, flowers but biological preparations.
The series was exhibited several times in Italy and abroad; the Publisher Prearo has published two books “The Dark Side of the Sun” with text by Luca Beatrice and “From hills and dales” with text by Giuliana Scimè.
